Second Spring Scrimmage!

Second Spring Scrimmage!

Last night, my son Blake (#18) brought three of his Panther teammates, and a childhood friend, home for supper. They're all great guys! (I love it when my kids bring their friends home!)

Five big guys can surely put away a lot of food! Jake, Christo, and Mark were "fueling up" for the scrimmage today! (Blake's still in a boot from breaking his foot during spring mat drills.)

Jake told us that he and his brother, Louie, are going to be in an "eating contest" at the end of the month! More to follow on that!

Supper: Clockwise from left, John Murphy, Mark Hogan #23 (GSU's first player!),
Blake Wyatt #18, Christo Bilukidi #53, Ed Wyatt (Blake's Dad), and Jake Muasau #35

The Panther's second scrimmage was today at at 10 a.m., at their practice field. Road work on the expressways had traffic a little crazy!

It was hazy and overcast a little after 9 a.m., as you can see from the ATL skyline!

The New "Team Meeting Room" in the Offices Next to the Practice Fields
Coach Curry, Cheryl Levick, Coach Pugh, and a few others, spoke to us in the new "Team Meeting Room," (which the team hasn't yet used), before the scrimmage started. We saw a short highlight film of the Inaugural Season.

The excitement for Georgia State's football program continues to build! We're on track for another great year!

What a beautiful spring day in Atlanta! After an overcast start, it actually got HOT sitting on the sidelines! I took lots of photos so everyone can get an idea of how much fun it was watching the Panther's today!

Don't Forget! The BIG Spring Scrimmage is in the Georgia Dome this Thursday, April 14th, at 6:30. Admission is FREE! Y'all come, and bring your family and friends. The Panther Talk Fan Website is doing a Tailgate Party before the game.

Here's a link to my photo album with more complete Scrimmage coverage! Enjoy!
