In my Dancing On The Journey blog, I wrote an essay about how easy it is to overlook things, and people. Atlanta is one of the top three places in the country for child rape for profit. This is a very uncomfortable subject, and most Atlantans have no idea that this goes on in our city. Super Bowl Weekend last year was the biggest sex weekend of the year.
100 Young Girls are trafficked each Day in Atlanta.
7,000 men per month pay to have sex with 12-17 year olds in Atlanta.
The average lifespan for girls "on the street" is 7 years.
One in four girls is sexually abused before the age of 18.
